with the obamas and the bidens and i said i will call her and the lady who called set i have to get her cleared and it is not easy so let me know quick. i called my daughter at 6:00 a.m. in the morning, and in another are she called back saying you get five of us in. i was so embarrassed, my son-in-law and my grandson, i got that much swing. we went in that house, walked up the gate that morning and all those women and men, you would have thought i was a rock star. my grandson was this big looking at me saying they have never been involved in any of this. we get into the white house and they pulled me out separate and meeting all the people and signed the bill, that was an awesome walk down the red carpet. the feeling i had because i had prayed so hard, you're not supposed to pray for personal things like that but i had prayed that would send a message. it was the first bill he signed into law. i was the second one that got to dance with him at the neighborhood. there's a picture in the hardback washington post and you can get them on line. while we were revers he said we are going to do this.

'm john fuglesang. thank you so much for joining us this evening on "viewpoint." vice president biden says president obama will get hig working group's recommend ailses on curbing gun violence by tuesday. around the time joe biden was making the statements, news broke on the latest american school shooting. a male student was shot in the chest allegedly by another male student armed with a shot gunn at the taft union high school in kern county, california, about 120 miles north of l.a. the alleged shooter is said to be 16 years old. he's alive and in custody. his victim is said to be in critical but stable condition. a teacher who reportedly helped convince the shooter to surrender was lightly wounded with a shotgun pellet and refused treatment at the scene. now, back at the white house vice president biden sat down today with hunters sportsmen and gun owner's groups including the nra the real victims in all of this gun violence, as part of his fact-finding mission for the president. before the doors closed, he told reporter what's heard from gun control groups and law enforcement thus far

swearing in of president obama and vice president biden at the u.s. capitol. it will happen on monday, january 21st. now, that is also martin luther king day. interesting, though. the constitution says the president has to be sworn in specifically on the 20th day of january, not the 21st. but the 20th of january falls on a sunday this year. so they have decided to do this as kind of a two-step. on sunday, the 20th, chief justice john roberts will swear in president obama for his second term. but they'll do it at an official, small ceremony at the white house at noon on sunday. the following day, on monday, that will be the whole pomp and circumstance giant event. but that second swearing in ceremony, the big one on the day with everybody there, that is going to be ceremonial, because the real one will have happened the day before. it's kind of weird, right? that this is the second time president obama and chief justice john roberts are going to have kind of a hincky time with the swearing in. remember what happened the first time with those two? chief justice said part of the oath wro
